Although, gold rates are more or less the same allover the world, it is clear, s shown in the above table, that gold rates in india are significantly higher than the same amount in Dubai and worldwide. This is attributed to higher custom duties applied by Indian authorities on gold imports reaching up to 15%.
As of today, Thursday 18th September 2025, the price of 10 grams of gold karat 24 in India is Rs 116,658, while in the price of the same amount and the same karat in Dubai is Rs 105,817.99 , with about 10.24 % increase,
